Oh my goodness, one has an iPad 2!!!

Do you know what my lovely husband of nearly 25 years has done? To celebrate our upcoming Silver Wedding Anniversary in early February he secretly bought me an iPad 2, to say I was shocked is an understatement :O

We’d recently been talking about buying some kind of tablet but didn’t have a clue which one would be the best, we both have an ipod Touch that we love and couldn’t live without so whatever we chose had a lot to live up to.

I love everything about my iPod from the apps, the design, the gorgeous clear screen that I’d have loved to have all that on a bigger screen but the price blew that idea out the water. Little did I know he’d been saving up so I could have one  lol. He’s just sooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing <3

HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MY DARLING, LOVE YOU LOTS :)

New Tattoos

If you ask me you’re never too old to be tattooed, I got my first when I was about 33 and my second and third last week just before my 43rd birthday in December. I LOVE THEM!!!!

If you live in the North East I’d definitely recommend Nick Geddes at Electric Ink in Redcar, he did a fantastic job, they’re really friendly and they don’t rip you off with crazy prices. I got a couple of quotes from other local tattooists beforehand and they were just ridiculous….one was more than double what Nick charges. They’re also giving 18% off all tats and piercings until January 2012 to mark 18 years in the business. :)

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween boys and girls, we don’t celebrate or whatever you do for Halloween but I know some of you do.

It was never a big deal when I was a kid in the 70′s and early 80′s, my dad would scoop out turnips for me and my brother (no one had pumpkins in those days) and we’d trawl the streets with our friends knocking on doors for a few pence. You didn’t get sweets in them days you see, you’d usually get 10p’s if you were lucky….as the rhyme goes “Have you got a penny for Halloween”.  At the end of the night we’d split the takings and smash our turnips up haha :D

On a sad note I see Sir Jimmy Savile died, I loved him when I was a kid. Every Saturday we’d be sat in front of the telly watching Jim’ll fix it then during the week he’d be presenting Top Of The Pops of which he was the first and last presenter. I read somewhere that in the 60′s he presented a music programme which was shown in black and white yet he still dyed his hair a different colour every week. R.I.P Jimmy :(

Now then now then

Oooh my…

Yep I’ve acquired more new BOOTS, I’ve taken over a whole cupboard just to house my ever growing collection :D Pic taken with the brilliant iPhone/ iPod Touch app Instagram, you take a photo, add an effect then simply upload which leads me to to this article I just came across on mashable.com

Why Fashion Photographers Are Flocking to Instagram

It’s little wonder that Instagram, a leading iPhone application for stylizing and sharing photos on the web, is proving so popular among street style photographers, some of whom have amassed followings in the thousands. What is unusual is that before Instagram, many of these well-followed photographers had done little to no street style photography in their portfolios. Read more…….

I also bought a cute Octopus necklace based on the Betsey Johnson style, I LOVE Betsey Johnson but her stuff is sometimes WAY too expensive. I only paid £2 for it. Oh and here’s the bag I bought to go with my blue boots :D

New boots again

Oh yes, I has new boots. I saw these for a fiver and how could I possibly not click the BUY button? I also found myself  buying a bag, cardi and a jumper, dunno how they found their way in to the basket. Just before I found these I’d ordered a pair in a different style from eBay and hopefully I’ll get them on Monday. :D 2 new pair in one week ain’t bad eh?

Hubby doesn’t understand the fascination but I really do have a serious obsession with boots and bags, I must have every style and colour going. I don’t find shoes as appealing for some reason and I spend all year waiting for Winter so I can start to wear them hehe.
